Note: The Reading Journey is organised around 20 themed lands, each with a collection of 10 – 15 books in each land. The full collection has between 200 and 225 books . On our Best books for Schools website you can always see exactly what is included so you can be assured that you will receive the books that you want – no hidden fillers or old stock.

Purchasing Options

There are several purchasing options for you to choose from

  • Full Reading Journey Pack for each year group
  • Individual titles, if you want to top up your collections to fill gaps.
  • A yearly subscription – new titles sent once a term.

The Reading Journey App

  • An accompanying app is available for iPads and is free for schools to use
  • The app is a digital record of children’s reading.
  • An individualised bookshelf allows children to display their reading history
  • Children’s responses are recorded in an online journal
  • The app includes a choice of meaningful challenges for children to complete when they have read a book.
  • Teachers can reward positive reading behaviours with special stickers.
